I was trying to make some of these spider webs with black plastic trash bags and it was a disaster. The plastic was so staticy and tangled and I kept ripping it. When I saw these, I just knew it would work so much better. Here are the directions I followed at Babble Dabble Doo to create my own.
They suggested using large craft paper to create giant webs. I don't have a space for giant webs, so I decided to use some paper bags I had from the grocery store to make smaller webs. It worked great with every size I tried-so easy!
I cut off the plastic ring on some dollar store spider rings and hot glued the spider part onto my webs. Then I staped them onto my Fall Mantle and when Halloween is over we can just pack them away and save them for next year.
I am really liking my Halloween decorations that are not your typical orange and black and that are blending in with my fall decor. Do you even bother decorating for Halloween or do you just jump right into fall? I could take it or leave it, but the kids seem to love it so that's pretty much the only reason I bother.
