Rad Mustard Yellow Dresser

It started with this end table I did a few months back...

It moved into my guest room and then I ended up having to change everything! I painted the walls, created a chalk art sign,

a pallet sign, and then redid this dresser to match!

I used the same yellow as the end table and then Annie Sloan Dark Wax to really weather it.

I am just loving this color lately and the newly painted gray walls are such a fun compliment.

And now our guests can actually unpack and use the drawers for storage.

My mom was excited when she got here and could really get comfortable

and settle in to her room for the next couple of weeks!

  1. I SO hear ya! Isn’t it wild how one project leads into another, and another, and another, until you have a whole house full of projects that started from one?! Happens to me all the time. I think that’s why I love your blog so much!! 😉 Nice job on your dresser. Love it when guests feel extra special because of the way we decorate!!

  2. I love that color, and with the white trim, looks fantastic. Great work as always!

    • AHH, I love your blog and just signed up to follow….and stalk all of your pinterest boards too:) Anyone ever tell you that you resemble Pam from The Office in your pinterest pic?

  7. I love the mustard being distressed by the dark wax. You always take beautiful pictures, but I bet it is even prettier in person!

    • This one actually is, I put in the basement guest room before photographing it and the light down there stinks. But I sure wasn’t going to drag it back upstairs for a photo shoot:)
