Little White Organizer

This little cutie started off as a plain old maple organizer.

I painted it with my trusty homemade white chalk paint.

I used a clear and dark wax (Annie Sloan)  finish.

Then, the poor thing just sat, sat, sat around. Until one of my Pick Your Plum orders arrived in the mail! That wide burlap ribbon was EXACTLY what this guy needed!

I bought a bunch of those metal numbers at Hobby Lobby a month or so ago when they were on sale, and I am using them all over the place.

It is amazing what a little "rustic bling" can do for a piece! Yeah, I said, "rustic bling." I am trademarking it, so don't go stealin my thunder.

That recipe is for my ridiculously awesome sugar cookies. You should try it, they really are the best. I know, because I have tried 13 different sugar cookie recipes over the past 4 years and spent the last 2 years refining this one. I am not a great baker, but I felt compelled to master at least one thing in the baking department!

Little cutie!

Hope y'all are having a great Wednesday!
