I am so happy to be in Pennsylvania celebreating a lovely holiday vacation with family and friends. I look back fondly on my childhood and love coming back to experience some of the same things I did 30 years ago with my own children today. We have been hitting my all time favorite playground, visiting The Crayola Factory, and having fun mucking around my old stomping grounds.
We did not have the easiest childhood and many things like Barbie Dream Houses were not accessible as they are for my lucky little girl!
But fortunately, healthy food and good nutrition were easily accessible. However, there are many children who are not so blessed. These kids struggle with undernutrition and the Vitamin Angels Give Childhood Campaign is trying to reach 1.2 million of these children in 50 different countries including the United States.
Your support today will give the gift of childhood to those in need worldwide so please donate now. If my kids were sick and couldn't ride their bikes and scooters out in the sunshine they would be miserable. Vitamin Angels is raising money to Give Childhood back to children in need.
You can help by visiting Vitamin Angels Give Childhood to make a donation that will help deliver essential vitamins and minerals to at risk children in need. As little as 25 cents will give one child all the vitamins and minerals he or she needs one whole year!
Vitamin Angels is raising money through the Give Childhood campaign through December 31st, 2013. Their goal is $300K which is enough to Give Childhood to 1.2 million children around the world in the form of lifesaving vitamin supplements.
I know this is a financially tough time of year for many, but even if you can even give 25 cents it will truly make a difference by giving a child a healthy childhood!
