Some of the super talented moms at my son's preschool have a monthly craft night. A few months ago we went to Jesi's place to make these stinkin adorable Wall Pockets! Check out Jesi's shop, Hip Violet
and you will discover why she has always has THE. BEST. fabric scraps in town.
I chose this ridiculously sweet vintage kitchen fabric and then we used this tutorial from Abernathy Crafts to create our wall pockets.
Seriously, the only materials you need are fabric and an embroidery hoop!
No sew and no hot glue! YAY!
I tucked my Nana's Shoo-Fly Pie recipe in there with some measuring spoons, but you could use it as a message center with pens and paper, or a bedside organizer with your glasses and a small book.
I always see packs of old embroidery hoops at thrift stores and a bunch of these grouped together would make a cute wall display.
Check out some awesome ideas I found! Just click on the photo to go to the source.
