Man, are you sick of this old fence yet?
Shelves Headboard Family Art Curtain Rod Airplane Art Frame
He He, me neither. My husband however, thinks I am nutty for keeping that old, splintered, dangerous wood laying around our garage. Even though he likes the projects I come up with, he is convinced one of us is going to end up impaled and infected from all the rusty nails.
We all spent a LONG Saturday at my husband's new office. I installed, shelves, a message center, a huge map, a plumbing curtain rod...
ugh wait, I am getting tired again. Let's just focus on this fab chalkboard for now.
I used black cabinet nails and just cut and screwed in....willy nilly....I like it like that.
I like how the boards are all uneven and choppy.
It is totally flowing with my industrial chic vibe
and flowing with this desk redo I already completed!
I also splurged and purchased the Rustoleum Chalkboard paint for this one. This one will be used often and hard, and I wanted to be sure it was going to hold up. I wasn't positive my homemade version was up to the job and I didn't want to risk having to redo the chalkboard next month!
Oh, don't worry I will be sharing the rest of my sweat equity later this week!
