  1. Oh, I love fall for this reason, apple season! The best apple EVER is honey crisp! Everyone must try this apple! It may not be in all areas yet, but it is growing in popularity.

    I live in an apple area and while I was teaching we would take the culls and any apples that weren’t too good looking and slice them, sprinkle cinnamon on them and then dehydrate them to make wreaths and other apple crafts. The good ones can also be sliced and dehydrated for eating or baking later when the fresh ones are gone. Peel and cut them up into the crock pot for applesauce and when cooled place them in small baggies and freeze. Natural applesauce no sugar or additives. YUM
