I am having a blast with this new app!
The Yellow Page App for I-Phone, Blackberry, Palm, and Android has been making my vaca so much easier.I haven't used the Yellow Page Book in a long time, but having the YP app at my fingertips has made me a new fan.
I downloaded The YP app from my app store, for free, and got straight to searching for restaurants because I was on my way out to dinner with my high school friends that evening. We ended up at Roosevelts 21st and had a blast. Well, we probably would have fun anywhere, but this place was perfect. They had music on one side of the restaurant and tables on the other. So we could enjoy the music and still hear each other, we had a lot to catch up on after all!
I reviewed a few of my favorite restaurants back in my hometown of Allentown, PA and in Denver. You can rate your favorite, or not so favorite, restaurants and businesses, upload photos of the establishments and write your own reviews to share with the world. Many of the restaurants even have menus built right into the app, which helped us tons today on our drive home from the Crayola Factory.
We worked up crazy appetites creating, building, and discovering and I was itching for a good cheesesteak! While my mom drove, I searched the menu at Matey's, called, ordered, and got directions so we could pick it up on our way home all through the YP app.
Another fabulous feature of this YP app is the gas search. I just hit gas prices on the home page and a list of gas stations in order of location pops right up. You can choose the grade you are looking for and everything! It also automatically highlights the best and good prices so you can scroll down quickly and find your best deal.
My favorite part of this app is searching for local deals. The YP app finds deals in your area, then you can save them in a folder within the app to show when you want to redeem it at your favorite local business! There are haircuts, shopping discounts, restaurant deals, and even car repair specials!
Really, I can't imagine who wouldn't use and appreciate this app. So hop on your phone, download it, and get started people!
