HEY LADIES...get funky
I really do love me some Old School Beastie Boys and this sign right away started this little diddie playing in my head.
Anyway back to the regularly scheduled program.
This was a plain wood plaque with a little brass doo-hickey on top which I spray paint4ed white then roughed up.
I used my Ace Kensington paint (from free sample Saturday a while back). It is called Hamptons and it is really my favorite blue ever.
Then I printed this little image onto a piece of dropcloth.
(I am so sorry that I can't find the place that I snagged this free image, because it is a really cute place to score freebies and if I discover it again I will share)
I cut it to size, frayed the edges, hot glued it onto the wood, and added some upholstery tacks to each corner.
It belongs in a beach house for sure, not my house in Denver. So it is heading over to my ETSY shop.
Now I need to find another little plaque like this so I can make one more fitting for our home!
