Good Evening my peeps!

Did you know what I did this week? If you follow me onInstagram (kimtoomuchtime) you know.

Let me give you a little glimpse of my world.

Yeah, I have no fear I posted this on FB and instagram-thought everyone needed a good laugh!

I had to have my dang front tooth extracted. Now it needs to heal for 6 months and THEN I can get my permanent implant. For now I have a little tooth that pops in and out. UGH-it really  makes me talk funny too.

I bet you all have had a better week than that!

Let's move on to my faves from last week. If you were featured grab a button!

Too Much Time On My Hands

Small Home Love shared an amazing recipe for honey scented whipped body butter!

Esther from Happy in Red shared a cheerful, summery, and lovely little tote.

Wendy at Her-Ballistic Garden created a welcoming and gorgeous garden gate to greet her guests as they enter-ahhhhhh.

A Semi-Charmed Kinda Life did a great stencil treatment on her dining room table and I just love it:)

Now, onto all the brilliant and fabulous projects you all have been working on this week!

Share away-and grab a button if you feel so inclined:)

thank you for hosting this party :) and this is the first time i’ve ever been the first to link up, ha ! have a great weekend (& father’s day if celebrating) !!

  2. Hi Kim
Oh I feel your toothless pain! Years ago, I chipped my front tooth and the dentist decided to saw it into a tiny nub and give me a hideous cap (with a silver backing)!! I was horrified and cried when I saw what he’d done!

Years later, I had it replaced with a nice porcelain one (but I caught a glimpse of that nub at the dentist’s office and was horrified once again)!!

    Love the stenciled table!

  9. cassie says:

my dad had to do that, too! and he had his temporary tooth when i got married, so we had the photographer take a pic of me and him without his tooth in. :) it was hilarious seeing us both dressed up, but then the missing tooth. :)

  10. Maureen says:

    Kim,

You are so brave to post that picture, good for you!! I am sorry this happened and I hope it doesn’t hurt too badly. Hopefully it will heal quickly and you can get the implant sooner. Hang in there, i am praying for you!

  11. Dora says:

    Hi Kim,

Thanks for the invite to join your fun linky party! I am sorry about your tooth. My husband had to have 2 removed from the side and he would not smile for weeks! Just hang in there, but it looks like you are taking it much better than many of us would.

  12. Carolyn says:

I have mad respect for you for posting that picture. Please read this blog entry to see why: http://kamsmomusa.blogspot.com/2012/06/real-me.html

  13. Jen Nikolaus says:

NOOOO!!! I’ve had similar tooth experiences and it sucks! Getting implants is the longest process EVER! So sorry! I’m a new Instagram follower and love your blog! Thanks for hosting. I hope your gums heal fast and the time goes by quickly until your implant. Thanks again and best wishes for a quick recovery!!!

    ~Jen

  14. I can so relate to you on the tooth issue. I had a tooth extracted last month. It broke in half while I was eating, but I should’ve had a crown put on that tooth a long time ago. I’m also wearing a partial. I can’t wait to get my dental implant. ugh!

  15. Sorry about your tooth, Kim, but I command you for being so open about it!
Thank you so much for hosting.
Wish you a much better weekend. xox

  16. Liz says:

Kim, you poor thing! I know the pain of front tooth woes as well, and I applaud your bravery in sharing your reality. Thank goodness for the little pop in tooth, though, huh? Thanks for hosting the party despite your tooth troubles this week!
    Liz

  17. Ha! You’re hilarious, Kim! So brave of you to share that picture with us! :)
Thanks for hosting a fabulous party!
    XO! Vanessa

  18. Man, that tooth thing stinks! I lost one a 18 months ago which transitioned into getting 3 more pulled and then braces. I only had to go 2 weeks with the gaps – but the braces didn’t close them for about 6 months…..so I feel your pain. I had to have oral surgery to have some fake bone put in to maintain the integrity of the mandible (just the one that I originally lost). Did you have to do that? Why do you have to wait 6 months?

    • Kim says:

Yup, girl. I had to have bone graphs and wait 6 months for the permanent fake to be placed! Dang, at least I don’t have to get braces too-that’s rough!

  19. Kim, sorry about the tooth – but honestly it just makes you look a young girl (in a good way – how did you pull that off?) ha! Thanks for hosting!! ~Lori

  20. kathie says:

Oh, honey! I am so sorry about your tooth. I had the same thing happen but a few teeth over and had to get a bridge. You look great even with a missing tooth! Anyway, I just discovered your blog (found through Girl In Air) and thought I would join in on your great party! Thanks for hosting and I look forward to reading your blog!

  21. Crystal says:

Sorry about your tooth! Hopefully the time you have to wait for the implant will fly by. Thanks for hosting! :-)

  22. Ruby Murray says:

Thanks so much for hosting, and don’t worry about the tooth, I think you look pretty Gangsta, just what every Mama aspires to, perhaps you could go all out and grab yourself some Gold Grillz and own the new look ;)

  23. Oh wow! Thanks for the feature! I haven’t been on the computer since Friday….celebrated turning 50 with a pig roast at our house on Saturday night…been cleaning up ever since! I’m so pleased you liked my garden gate! xo wendy

  24. Ruby Murray says:
