This post brought to you by Whitney Farms. All opinions are 100% mine.
Y'all know I love gardening and growing my own food for my family. I am on a limited space budget, so I need to get the most bang for my buck when I plant. No wasted space, no droopy plants, we need only A+ superstars in my backyard.
I was recently introduced to Whitney Farms® and I am quite excited about the prospect of successfully using an organic plant food and organic soil, expecially for the food we grow!
Last year my freaking awesome tomato plants (in my homemade grow box) started off like this...
and ended up even bigger than this....
I want to add some ammendments to the soil and my tomatoes will definitely need some food to turn into monster tomato tree plants again. I will be using the Whitney Farms® Tomato and Vegetable Food on those prize winners this year!

I also have 4 long planting boxes I will be using for a few crops of lettuce, spinach, and arugula throughout the summer. I will need to feed these guys in order to keep getting top notch produce and the Tomato and Vegetable Food will work well for that too!
Now that my kids are 3 and 5, they are getting more and more hands on in the garden. Using organic supplies makes me feel more comfortable when stray soil (ick) makes it into their mouths, or gets tracked into my house and all over our floors. The less chemicals the better in my opinion.
There is a $3 off coupon, so you have zero excuses for not clicking through to their site and trying Whitney Farms® organic plant food and organic soil!
I would love to hear about your experiences growing food for your family and with yoru kids. I am having such a blas and always love to hear new ideas and fun ways to make the garden a success!
