Do you believe I was ridiculously sick last weekend? Like so sick I didn't do one darn thing I wanted to do for Earth Day. My daughter and I were laid out from Friday till Tuesday. BOOOOOOO
Onto bigger and brighter things, spring is here, although it feels like summer in Denver it was almost 90 on Tuesday! I am out getting my hands dirty in our backyard and on our front porch. Growing vegetables, herbs, and beautiful flowers is a beautiful way to honor our Earth.
However, I have no yard space, we live in an HOA (kickin ourselves about that now!), and I am not allowed to even touch the front yard. So we need to get creative around here when it comes to growing.
I have had this old bread box in my garage for like...a year.
I FINALLY figured out what to do with it!
So cheerful,
sweet,
and quirky.
Here are a couple of other ideas I may have to try.
I have an old wagon in the garage right now....
These are expensive when I find them, but maybe I can make my own.
I have some burlap bags coming in the mail from my new partner!!!
I was just noticing gobs of baskets at my favorite thrift store the other day!
I definitely need a trellis or two and this looks awesome. I still have old fence left
( I know, it's gonna last till the day I die)
and I have wire sitting in my garage right now!
Guess what? I have a teeny tiny baby tomato on one of my plants! YIPPEE!
